Emmerdale reveals yet another Bear Wolf twist after Ray Walters murder in ITVX release

Fans are still reeling from the shocking revelations in last night’s Emmerdale. It turned out that Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) wasn’t dead after all, and even more surprisingly, he was responsible for Ray Walters‘ (Joe Absolom) death.

Even though the dangerous period is finished, Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle), who saw the murder, are still struggling with everything that happened.

Just before, Ray had pulled Dylan inside Tenant House and then brutally attacked Paddy. Unbeknownst to them, Bear, who everyone thought was dead, had escaped from where he was being held and returned to the village.

He was so angry that he used wrestling techniques to knock the thief down, and then held him tightly until he stopped struggling.

Paddy and Dylan cried out for him to stop, but it was too late.

Today on the show, Bear was shocked by what he’d done and truly upset about Ray’s death. It’s important to remember he’s experiencing Stockholm Syndrome, and genuinely believed Ray and Celia were helping him by providing shelter and a job on their farm.

Paddy thought they should call for an ambulance, but Dylan argued it would only make things worse. They’d have to get rid of the body themselves instead.

Paddy is usually a law-abiding character, so Dylan’s idea came as a real shock. Dylan proposed using a van parked conveniently outside to carry out the plan, and the two of them went to take a look at it.

To everyone’s shock, Bear came out the back door, pulling Ray’s body along the ground. They quickly helped him into the van, laying him among some boxes inside.

While they were away, Jai Sharma, played by Chris Bisson, drove to Manchester.

As you may have heard, he unfortunately didn’t reach his destination because of a large car accident. Ray has been located and is safe.

But what about Bear?

More flashbacks revealed that Paddy acted like he didn’t know where his father was, and even went along with the police as they investigated his disappearance.

We discovered Bear was now living in comfortable conditions, but Paddy was locking the door after every visit. He did this to prevent Bear from going to the police and reporting Paddy’s violent deeds.

Will the plan work, and how long will Bear be hiding away?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1. Stream on ITVX.
