After a season filled with dramatic eliminations and unexpected betrayals, the fourth season of The Traitors is coming to an end with its finale.
Just five players will advance to the final mission and discussion, and currently, viewers don’t know who those players are.
The second-to-last episode left viewers on the edge of their seats! Rachel and James both received the same number of votes twice, so their fate in the competition will now be decided randomly.
After the final player is exiled, everyone will face one last test. Then, they’ll have a final discussion to decide who to banish for good.
But the game won’t end there…
Read on for everything you need to know about The Traitors final and how to end the game.
How does The Traitors end? Rules explained

During The Traitors final, there’s one more roundtable, where one more player can be voted off.
After the initial discussion, the players will gather around a second, smaller table to decide whether to finish the game or continue.
The contestants will decide by throwing a special pouch into the fire. If they want to stop the game, they’ll toss it in; otherwise, the game continues.
The game finishes only when all players agree it’s over because they think all the Traitors have been discovered.
When everyone has finished voting to end the game, voting stops and the prize money goes to whichever team – Traitors or Faithfuls – is left.
If all the Traitors have been eliminated, the remaining Faithful players will share the prize money. But if even one Traitor is still in the game, they get to keep all the money.
As a fan of clever social deduction, I’m happy to report that The Traitors season 4 is hitting our screens on Friday, January 23rd at 8:30pm, airing on BBC One and also available to stream on BBC iPlayer. If you’re late to the game, don’t worry – all three previous seasons are currently available to binge-watch on iPlayer, so you can get caught up before the new episodes drop!
