However, 2026 currently looks less promising, and one of its major releases has recently announced some disappointing news about its launch.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgis no Kaiten is the fourth film in the popular Puella Magi Madoka Magica series. It’s been over ten years since a movie was last released, and the newest installment was originally planned to premiere this February. However, Studio Shaft has announced another delay. The movie has faced several postponements already, and fans are hoping it will finally be released in 2026.
