After Brooklyn Beckham said his mother, Victoria Beckham, “took over” his first dance with Nicola at their wedding and made him feel embarrassed by dancing with him in a way he considered inappropriate, many people are now eager to see video from the 2022 event.

Although many people are curious about it, sources told TopMob News that only Nicola and Brooklyn possess the video and have no plans to make it public.

This follows confirmation from DJ Fat Tony (Tony Marnoch), who performed at the wedding, that Brooklyn’s story is accurate. Marc Anthony reportedly invited what he considered the most beautiful woman in the room to dance, but surprisingly called out Victoria’s name instead of Nicola’s.

He told ITV on January 23rd that Brooklyn was really upset because he’d expected to have his first dance with his wife, but Nicola left the room in tears before they could.

He explained that Brooklyn and Victoria were playfully dancing, and Marc Anthony jokingly told Brooklyn to touch his mother’s hips. It was a culturally specific moment – a Latin thing – that made everyone in the room feel uncomfortable.

TopMob News has reached out to the singer’s rep for comment and has not yet heard back.

Tony, who has provided services for the Beckhams at several events before, described them as a lively and close family. However, he also acknowledged that their 26-year-old son is entitled to his own feelings.

While not a strict requirement, many people expected Nicola Peltz Beckham to wear a wedding dress designed by her future mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, when she married Brooklyn Beckham in April 2022. The wedding took place at the Peltz family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Speaking to Grazia the following month, Nicola called the Beckhams “great in-laws.”

Victoria, who rarely addresses gossip, finally described the Peltz-Beckham wedding as “beautiful.”

“Seeing my son so happy is incredibly rewarding,” she shared on TODAY that October. “You can’t ask for anything more than that.”
