New Vampire Survivors Game Will Be Playable for the First Time Next Month

Since its release in 2022, Vampire Survivors has become one of the most popular indie games around. People love its quick, exciting gameplay and retro pixel art style. So, fans were excited when poncle announced a new game set in the Vampire Survivors world. Though not a direct sequel, this spin-off will offer a fresh gameplay experience while still taking place in the familiar setting.

The release date for Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard is still unknown, but poncle has announced when players can first try it out. A playable demo will be available on Steam and Xbox in February as part of Steam Next Fest. Poncle also shared a detailed look at some of the game’s mechanics with fans.

It’s a simple, turn-based deckbuilding game with roguelike features, and it takes place in the same pixel art style as Vampire Survivors. You’ll explore dungeons you might recognize, but with a fresh viewpoint and new ways to play.

This first one focuses on the core mechanics – specifically, the Turboturn system and how you can customize your cards. Basically, they’re showing how the game will be fast-paced but also let you build some seriously powerful combos.
