Dakota Johnson and Role Model are showing fifty shades of affection. 

The band Materialists’ frontman, Tucker Pillsbury (who also performs as Sally, When the Wine Runs Out), and his new romantic partner were seen enjoying dinner together at Saffy’s in Los Angeles on January 22nd.

Dakota, 36, and Role Model, 28, seemed to confirm they’re dating during a recent dinner. The couple, who were first linked romantically in December after being seen close with friends, were photographed holding hands as they left the restaurant, displaying some sweet affection.

Okay, let’s talk style! Dakota and Role Model really nailed their evening looks. I loved how Dakota paired a delicate lace camisole with a cozy, oversized wool coat and a fun leopard-print tote – it’s the perfect mix of feminine and cool. Role Model kept things classic and sophisticated in a dark gray sweater, black pants, and a matching scarf. Such a polished and put-together vibe!

Before Dakota Johnson began dating the singer of “Look At That Woman,” she ended her almost eight-year relationship and engagement with Chris Martin.

Although neither Dakota Johnson nor Chris Martin have confirmed their split, Dakota has shared what she’s looking for in a future relationship.

When asked to describe what she’s looking for in a partner, Dakota told Craig Melvin on Today, “Just someone who isn’t a jerk.”

Role Model, the singer, previously dated Emma Chamberlain, but they ended their relationship in 2023 after being together for three years.

Honestly, I always suspected it was Maine. Like, Role Model loves his home state, and I heard through the grapevine that being so far away was really eating at him. It definitely played a huge part in why things fell apart with his ex, I just knew it. He needed to be back home, and I guess that was that.

He said on the Zach Sang Show in 2024 that he experienced intense homesickness, which was the hardest part of that time. He was also going through a period of self-doubt, questioning many things about his life.

The celebrity acknowledged that his wish to return to his hometown was likely difficult for his former partner.

He simply wanted to be with his friends and family and feel a sense of normal life. He realized it would likely be confusing for the other person, who might wonder why he was distancing himself.
