15 Years on, Smallville Stars Reunite On CBS’ Biggest Show

For ten seasons, Smallville was a hugely popular show on DC. Many of the actors from the series have worked together again on other projects since then. The show starred Tom Welling as a young Clark Kent, following his journey of self-discovery before he fully became Superman – which didn’t happen until the very last episode. Throughout the series, he encountered iconic characters like Lois Lane, Oliver Queen, and Aquaman. Finally, in the series finale, he donned the classic red and blue suit and took flight as the Man of Steel.

It’s been 15 years since the TV show Smallville finished, and two of its former stars are now appearing together on a hit current series. Justin Hartley plays Colton Shaw, a skilled professional who finds missing people, on the show. An upcoming episode on March 22nd will feature Erica Durance as a stuntwoman who enlists Colton’s help when her boyfriend goes missing from a movie set. Fans will remember Durance as Lois Lane and Hartley as Oliver Queen (the Green Arrow) on Smallville.

There’s some exciting news for DC fans! David Ramsey, known for his role as John Diggle in the former Arrowverse series Arrow, will be appearing in the same episode as Baxter, who shares a connection with his character. This marks a fun reunion for DC fans who miss seeing these characters on The CW. But viewers of the show Tracker may have already known this was happening!

Tracker Has Become A Hot-Spot For Familiar Guest Stars

Beyond the main cases, Tracker features a rich backstory, particularly surrounding Colton Shaw’s family history, which frequently appears in the show’s plots. This has led to two guest actors becoming regular characters. Notably, Jensen Ackles, known from Supernatural and The Boys, plays Russell Shaw, Colton’s long-lost brother. Melissa Roxburgh also appeared as Colton’s sister, Dory Shaw, but is currently focused on her starring role in the series The Hunting Party.

Justin Hartley fans got another treat during the series! Before starring in Tracker, Hartley was known for his role in the family drama This Is Us, where he played one of three siblings navigating life after their father’s death. On that show, he had a romantic connection with Jennifer Morrison (House). Now, Hartley has reunited with Morrison again – she guest starred as Lizzy Hawking, an ex-girlfriend of his Tracker character, Colton, who needed his help finding her sister. Hartley is frequently working with former colleagues, and this Smallville reunion is the newest example.
