
Okay, so Bandai Namco just dropped some huge news – they’re making a new Dragon Ball game called Dragon Ball New Game Project AGE 1000! It’s still a ways off, though – we’re looking at a 2027 release. They haven’t said what systems it’ll be on yet, which is killing me, but hey, at least we know it’s coming!
This game has been in the works for between six and seven years, starting with the first ideas, and includes a new character created by the late Akira Toriyama, best known for Dragon Ball.
We’ll be sharing more details about the game at the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026, taking place April 18-19, 2026, at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California.

Akira Toriyama is creating a completely new Dragon Ball universe with all-new characters for a game planned for release in 2027!
Get ready to meet a brand-new character in the upcoming Dragon Ball story, “AGE 1000.” The character was created by Akira Toriyama, the famous artist behind the series.
Plus, the “AGE 1000” project will reveal even more interesting characters as the story progresses.
