Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft are releasing substantial downloadable content for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO this summer. They’re also adding free updates, starting with “Mission 100” on January 26th, and “Survival Mode” later this spring.
The latest downloadable content is huge and includes a ton of new additions! Players can look forward to new characters like Super Android 17, King Piccolo, and Super Saiyan Bardock, plus costumes – including a childhood version of Gohan. There’s also new battle customization that lets you unlock powerful new super attacks for Goku and Vegeta, and even more content to explore.
The game is adding a new single-player mode called “Mission 100,” where players can choose their preferred characters and complete a series of challenges. While designed to be straightforward, the mode features diverse battles and a large number of missions that should feel familiar to fans of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
The new downloadable content and free update for Switch 2 and the original Switch will be released at a different time than on other consoles. While exact dates haven’t been shared, the content already available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC will become available for Switch 2 and Switch this winter.
You can now play Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam.
