Brandi Cyrus needed her mom Tish Cyrus to take a beat before saying “I do” again.
In fact, the host of “Sorry We’re Cyrus” shared the wisdom she offered to her mother prior to marrying Dominic Purcell, who she wedded only a year following her divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus.
Brandi, aged 38, expressed during their joint appearance on the July 15th episode of Harry Jowsey’s “Boyfriend Material” podcast, “I did mention that you were moving rather quickly towards marriage.” She continued, “It made me uneasy. I thought, ‘We’ve just emerged from one marriage; why are we so eager to enter into another?’
She emphasized again, “That really unsettled me.” What I’m trying to convey is this: When you hurry through things, it often means taking a few steps back and dealing with the aspects you overlooked or rushed past.
In the year 2023, Tish tied the knot with the actor famous for “Prison Break”. This wedding took place sixteen months following her divorce from the well-known singer who had “Achy Breaky Heart”, a union that lasted for twenty-eight years.
Initially, Brandi felt hesitant, but Tish received swift encouragement from her middle child, Miley Cyrus, who is 32 years old. As Tish shared, “Miley was extremely supportive.

Billy Ray Cyrus married Tish Cyrus (née Leticia Finley) on Dec. 28, 2003.
