Reba McEntire loves her work and never stops—even for her upcoming nuptials.
Actress Renée Zellweger, known for her role in Happy’s Place, gave an update on her wedding plans with fiancé Rex Linn, her co-star on the NBC sitcom. While at the 2026 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 1st, she mentioned that when the wedding will happen depends on finding time between their busy work schedules.
She shared in an interview with Zuri Hall, alongside Brandy Clark during Live From TopMob: Grammys, that they’re hoping Happy’s Place gets renewed for a third season. She also mentioned that Rex’s involvement in the show Stick with Owen Wilson caused them to postpone their wedding.
Reba, age 70, revealed that her husband, Rex, 69, lives by a straightforward principle: he prioritizes work. (You can see photos of all the stars at the 2026 Grammys here.)
For now, the couple appears happy to take things slowly as they plan their wedding. Shortly after the Grammy-winning artist announced her engagement to TopMob News at the Emmys in September, her fiancé shared that he was enjoying being engaged.
In November, he told TopMob News that they were simply savoring being engaged. They hadn’t decided on a wedding date and were focusing on enjoying this time, including daily visits to Happy’s Place.
The CSI: Miami actor mentioned that he and his future wife were really enjoying spending time together, both while working and in their personal lives.

He explained that they genuinely enjoy each other’s company, both at work and at home. They’re excited to go to work each day and feel that their strong real-life connection makes their on-screen scenes together much more natural and comfortable.
Reba says her wedding to Rex will be a really fun celebration.
She explained that their wedding wouldn’t be typical, reflecting who she and Rex are as a couple. They prioritize being comfortable, spending time with friends, and enjoying good food.
