Karol G Heats Up the Grammys 2026 Red Carpet in Sheer Gown

Karol G will always be a tropicoqueta.

The 2026 Grammy Awards continued the tradition of glamorous red carpet appearances. Singer “Verano Rosa” especially stood out, looking stunning in her outfit as she arrived at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 1st.

Karol arrived wearing a delicate, sheer gown by Paolo Sebastian in a soft, dusty blue lace. The dress had a long train with flowing tassels. She completed her look with Gianvito Rossi heels, Jacob & Co. jewelry, and a radiant makeup style. Her wavy blonde hair was worn loose down her back. (View photos of all the red carpet stars here.)

I’m so excited for her tonight! At 34, she’s up for Best Latin Pop Album with Tropicoqueta, and the competition is amazing – Rauw Alejandro’s Cosa Nuestra, Andrés Cepeda’s BOGOTÁ (DELUXE), Alejandro Sanz’s Y Ahora Qué?, and Natalia Lafourcade’s Cancionera are all incredible albums too. It’s going to be a tough category!

Karol’s appearance at the event follows a recent report by TMZ that she and her longtime partner, Feid – who she worked with on her latest album – had ended their three-year relationship on good terms. Despite the personal news, the singer is pleased with how her career is going.

A gold gramophone award from the 68th annual ceremony would join the Song of the Year and Best Tropical Song awards they won at the 2025 Latin Grammys in November.

Karol announced on Instagram that her song, “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” – a favorite of her niece – won two Latin Grammys. She said she celebrated with her parents, friends, and team, and was overwhelmed by the support and love she received from people at the event.

As a huge fan, I was so excited to hear that Feid and Karol G created “Verano Rosa” together! They really brought their shared Colombian heritage to life in that song, and you can definitely feel it when you listen.

The song was recorded in 2023, but we went through several revisions to get the sound right, he explained to The Los Angeles Times in August. Karol then suggested including it on her album, saying it would be amazing to release because both of our teams enjoy our collaborations together.

We went back to the studio and kept recording until we were both happy with how it sounded, he explained. He added that working with her is always a great experience because she has a clear vision. He feels especially fortunate to work with family, calling it both beautiful and a blessing.
