Bad Bunny is still taking it all in.
DtMF won Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammys in Los Angeles on February 1st for his album, DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS. Before accepting the award at Crypto.com Arena, he took a private, emotional moment to himself. (See photos of all the celebrities at the 68th annual Grammy Awards here.)
When Bad Bunny won, making history with his album DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS as the first Spanish-language album to win the show’s top prize, he reacted emotionally. While the entire audience gave him a standing ovation, he remained seated, covering his face with his hands and crying after presenter Harry Styles announced his name.
The artist, known as “EoO,” continued to cry as he approached the podium. He paused to savor the historic moment before expressing thanks for his home country, Puerto Rico, and his family.
Bad Bunny announced to the audience that he wanted to give this award to everyone who left their home country to pursue their dreams.
Bad Bunny didn’t just win one award that night – he also took home prizes for Best Global Music Performance and Best Urban Music Album.
Although the 31-year-old has a lot to be happy about regarding his potential appearance at the 2026 Grammys, he’s likely to keep his enthusiasm relatively quiet.

He told Trevor Noah that he didn’t perform at the event because he’s planning to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2026.
During their conversation on stage, Trevor Noah asked Bad Bunny if it was true that anyone performing at the Super Bowl is contractually prevented from also performing at the Grammys. He explained that the Super Bowl contract apparently has that restriction.
“I wish,” Bad Bunny responded, “but I can’t.”

The singer didn’t share specifics about why he needed to rest his voice, but he mentioned he really wanted to perform at the award show.
“I came here [and] I thought I was performing,” he added, “but now I can’t.”
