Falcom has a “major” game announcement up its sleeve, and its happening this month.
The company, a Japanese game developer known for the Trails and Ys games, has made a new announcement, though most people don’t think it has anything to do with those series.
The company has finally announced the new Tokyo Xanadu game, which fans have been waiting for since the original action RPG came out in 2015. They first hinted at the project last year, in 2024.
Falcom is planning to launch two new games this year, with Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter scheduled for release this fall.
To celebrate their 45th anniversary, Falcom plans to share exciting news regularly throughout the year, according to company president Toshihiro Kondo in an interview with Japanese gaming site Gamer (reported by @Hansuke21 and Gematsu).
