The 68th Annual Grammy Awards, held in Los Angeles, was an emotional night for the Osbourne family. Sharon, Jack, and Kelly Osbourne attended the ceremony, which included a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July at age 76. The tribute also honored Roberta Flack and D’Angelo, both of whom died in 2025. Near the end of the NBC broadcast, a special performance featured Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, Slash, and Duff McKagan playing a cover of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” in memory of Ozzy.
Sharon, Jack, and Kelly were visibly moved by the performance, jumping to their feet along with the rest of the audience – and the cameras caught it all. Sharon wore sunglasses, partially hiding her tears, but both of her adult children were seen wiping away tears as they applauded. Before the awards ceremony, Kelly told Entertainment Weekly that seeing her father’s colleagues honor his work was a beautiful moment and that they expected the night to be very emotional.
When asked about how the Osbourne family is honoring the memory of their father, the 41-year-old shared with the publication:
I do so much to keep his memory alive. We always make sure he’s included, and I light a candle for him daily. I wear a hidden locket with his picture, and my baby kisses it every day, saying hello to Papa. Whenever I see 11:11 on the clock, I feel like it’s him reaching out to me.

Few honors are as significant as a Hollywood biopic, as the families of music icons like Freddie Mercury, Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, Judy Garland, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Jim Morrison can attest. Recently, Ozzy Osbourne’s son, Jack, told Billy Morrison on the Influenced podcast that they were making progress in finding an actor to play his father in a potential film.

It sounds like the Osbournes are making good progress on their new movie, tentatively titled The Prince of Darkness. The big question now is: who will be able to play such a powerful and iconic role?
