Alaina Scott is not afraid to celebrate her little one.
Eminem’s daughter and her husband, Matt Moeller, recently celebrated their upcoming arrival with a sweet baby shower surrounded by family and friends. The couple announced they were expecting their first child months ago.
Alaina, 32, shared on Instagram on February 1st that she’s eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby girl. She expressed gratitude for the support of her friends and family, saying the love surrounding her child is the greatest gift she could ask for.
Alaina’s brother and sister, Hailie Scott, 30, and Stevie Scott, 23—whom she shares with her ex-wife, Kim Scott—were among the guests at the celebration. She shared a touching photo of herself hugging them in front of a backdrop decorated with adorable pink and red baby clothes.
The expectant mother coordinated with the event’s color scheme, wearing a ruby-red dress that showed off her baby bump. Her daughter, Hailie, wore a flowing pastel silk gown. Stevie chose a more casual outfit with a brown top, black jeans, and black shoes. Alaina also got dressed up, changing into a beautiful white gown for photos with her husband, whom she married last year.
Hailie, who had her son Elliot with husband Evan McClintock in March, showed her excitement for her growing family. She commented on a post, saying she can’t wait to meet and spoil her ‘newest little bestie.’
Matt shared the excitement, saying he’s eager to meet his baby daughter and is thrilled to see his wife become a mother. He believes she’ll be wonderful at it.
After all, the couple’s road to starting their family has been a long and emotional one.
Alaina shared in an Instagram post that people don’t really tell you how difficult and emotionally draining trying to conceive can be. She described the monthly cycle of hope and disappointment, wondering if each month would finally be the one. She also explained that she and her husband, Matt, used manifestation techniques in a special place to help them conceive their baby girl.
Oh my gosh, you guys, it’s just… everything I’ve ever dreamed of! When we were building our house, we actually wrote a prayer on the walls, hoping, praying for a baby and a positive pregnancy test in 2025. And then… then I got to stand in that very spot, surrounded by those walls, and tell Matt our prayers had actually been answered! We’re going to raise our little girl there, in the house we built with so much hope. It’s just… a perfect full-circle moment, you have no idea! I’m still crying!
Alaina lovingly said she couldn’t wait to finally hold her baby girl and shower her with love. She encouraged her baby to keep growing and promised to see her soon.

Kimberly Ann Scott, originally from Michigan, was Eminem’s high school girlfriend. They had a daughter, Hailie Jade, in 1995.
Kim and the rapper were married from 1999 to 2001, and again briefly in 2006. Their difficult relationship has been mentioned in several of his songs, like ’97 Bonnie & Clyde,’ ‘Puke,’ and ‘Bad Husband.’
Kim described a recurring cycle in her relationship, explaining in a 2007 interview with 20/20 that they typically had two good years together before things would fall apart. She felt they hadn’t reached that two-year mark yet and didn’t want to push things before it happened.
However, Kim noted that Eminem has always been an “excellent” father.
“He loves the kids very much,” she shared. “He’s always lending a helping hand.”

Eminem and Kim had their daughter, Hailie, on December 25, 1995. The rapper has said that her birth was a turning point, motivating him to get his life on track.
In 2001, Eminem told Q magazine that everything he was working on was to secure Hailie’s future, specifically to pay for her college education.
She grew up largely in the Detroit area, living with Eminem in his large home, before going on to study psychology at Michigan State University. It was there she met her future husband, Evan McClintock, and they married in May 2024 after becoming engaged in 2023.
Eminem shared in a 2020 interview on Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson that his daughter, Hailie Jade, graduated college with a 3.9 GPA and that he’s very proud of her.
Hailie announced she was expecting her first child with Evan in October 2024. They welcomed a son, Elliot Marshall McClintock, in March 2025.

Born on Feb. 22, 1993, Alaina is the daughter of Kim’s sister Dawn Scott.
In the early 2000s, Eminem took legal guardianship of his niece because her mother was battling addiction. He explained to Rolling Stone in 2004 that he had full custody of his niece and shared custody of his daughter, Hailie. He’d always been a constant presence in Hailie’s life, and his niece had been a part of his family since birth, often living with him and his then-wife, Kim.
Raised primarily by Eminem, she considers him a father figure and asked him to walk her down the aisle at her wedding to Matt Moeller in June 2023.
After the wedding, where Hailie was her Maid of Honor, she told People magazine, ‘He wouldn’t have missed it for the world! I’m so incredibly grateful for everything my dad has done to make this possible.’
Her mother passed away in 2016 at the age of 41.
In October 2025, she revealed that she was pregnant with her and Matt’s first child, a baby girl.

Kim and her boyfriend, Eric Hartter, welcomed Stevie on April 16, 2002. Eminem later legally adopted Stevie in 2005 after getting back together with Kim.
In August 2021, Stevie publicly shared that they are nonbinary and use all pronouns, posting about it on TikTok.
They added in the caption, “forever growing and changing.”

Born in 1955 at a military base in Kansas, Debbie is the mother of Eminem.
In her 2008 memoir, My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem, she revealed she married Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr., the father of the artist known as Eminem, when she was just 15 years old. Sixteen months later, she became pregnant with Eminem and moved to Michigan to live near her grandmother.
The difficult relationship between Debbie and Eminem has appeared in his music, most notably in his 2002 song “Cleanin’ Out My Closet.” In the song, he claimed his mother struggled with prescription pill abuse during his childhood, a claim she refuted in her autobiography.
She wondered, ‘What mother wants to be labeled an alcoholic who relies on public assistance?’ She explained that none of the accusations were true, but the lies continued to grow, eventually leading to a breakdown in her relationship with Marshall.
Eminem later said he regretted making his family problems public. In his 2013 song “Headlights,” he admitted he didn’t consider the impact of his words, rapping, “I didn’t think about who I hurt with what I said, and my mom probably suffered the most.”
Nelson died at the age of 69 in 2024 following a battle with cancer.
