The anime series Daemons of the Shadow Realm will premiere on April 4th, 2026, as part of the Spring lineup. Crunchyroll will stream the series for viewers in the US and other regions outside of Japan. A new trailer has also been released, featuring the opening theme song “Tobu Toki” by Vaundy and the ending theme “Tobo yo” by yama. The first season will consist of two consecutive parts, airing throughout both the Spring and Summer seasons.
Hiromu Arakawa’s manga series, Daemons of the Shadow Realm, which originally appeared in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in 2001, is being adapted into an anime by Bones Film, with Masahiro Ando directing. Noburu Takagi is writing the scripts, Nobuhiro Arai is designing the characters, and Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music. This announcement follows earlier hints of an update and offers a substantial first look at the upcoming anime.
What to Know for Daemons of the Shadow Realm Anime

The voice cast for Daemons of the Shadow Realm includes Kensho Ono as Yuru, Yume Miyamoto as Asa, Yuichi Nakamura as Dera, and Misaki Kuno as Gabu-chan. The latest trailer also revealed new cast members: Takako Honda as Left, Rikiya Koyama as Right, Miyuri Shimabukuro as Hana, and Junichi Suwabe as Jin. Like other works by the same creator, this fantasy series has already proven very popular with manga readers.
