7 Coronation Street spoilers for next week
1. David Platt is suspicious of Jodie Ramsey’s meddling

Shona strongly suspects Jodie is keeping a secret and decides to follow her. She discovers Jodie is visiting their father, who is struggling with confusion and they haven’t been close to for a long time. Jodie reveals she was the only one looking after their father after their mother went missing, and she was completely overwhelmed.
Shona returns home and argues with Lily, prompting David to suggest she take some time off. Although she initially plans to visit her father, Jodie convinces her to go out for the evening instead.
The girls go to the Bistro, and Carl tries harder to flirt, which annoys Shona. Jodie pretends to cry and gets her sister drunk, then calls David to come and help her get home.

The following day, she told her brother-in-law how warmly she’d been received at No. 8. However, he sensed something was off about her and shared his concerns with Nick. Later, when she was alone, she took out a locket from her jewelry box.
What is she hiding?
Just as David was leaving, Jodie surprised him with a packed breakfast for work, and he tried to hide how uncomfortable he felt. After he left, she started doing chores, like dusting the living room, and deliberately broke the frame of a wedding photo of David and Shona.
2. Bernie Winter-Alahan is rattled by Mal Roaper’s presence

Mal is still working on Roy’s apartment, and Ryan realizes he saw him at Chariot Square. Bernie, who is an electrician fixing the cafe, asks Ryan to keep quiet about what he witnessed at the hotel.
Feeling deeply ashamed, she confesses everything to Gemma. Gemma then encourages her to tell Dev what happened herself, before he finds out from another source.
Later that week, Mal carefully observes Dev and Bernie chatting over tea. He then tells Roy that the apartment urgently needs a full electrical rewiring, using this as an excuse to stay in Weatherfield longer.

3. Carl Webster plots to burn down the hotel, as Debbie reunites with an old face

Debbie is now in prison and has been paired with another inmate for protection. She’s not happy to find out that Lou will be looking out for her!
Adam called Carl with good news: she’s hoping the recent mini-stroke will help get her sentence reduced.
He goes back to work at the hotel, but is angry about having to take instructions from Ryan. He gets even more upset when Ronnie supports Ryan, and in a fit of frustration, throws away the QR code stickers he was supposed to put on the tables.

After Ryan discovered the discarded stickers, he immediately fired Carl, which set off a dangerous scheme to destroy the company with fire.
4. Todd Grimshaw collapses as Theo Silverton’s abuse intensifies

Todd appreciates Sarah and George buying him beers and food, but he cuts the evening short when he sees he’s missed calls from Theo. He quickly goes to listen to them. He also tells George he felt bad about making Summer pay for their groceries, and he’s able to get a cash advance from work, which he uses to give Summer half the money back.
Later that week, James asked me to brunch, which put me in a really awkward spot. I had to make up an excuse about forgetting my bank card so I wouldn’t have to pay – I just couldn’t afford to! James ended up covering it, which was nice, but when I got home, I really let Theo have it about being so careless with money. I was furious he’d put us in that position.

He gave Todd ten pounds and told him to get something for dinner and bring back the receipt. While Todd was gone, Theo tossed Billy’s photo in the trash and took the garbage out, noticing a takeaway container inside.
He immediately starts criticizing Todd, listing all the calories he’s eaten and telling him to go for a run. James then sees Todd walking down the street with a limp.
That night, Todd came out of the bedroom, wincing and rubbing his neck. Theo had playfully given him a love bite, which Theo found very funny.

Okay, so the next day was rough. Todd was clearly still reeling from whatever happened – Jake wouldn’t let up about the bruises, and it finally pushed Todd over the edge. Gary had to step in and break things up. Afterwards, Gary called Theo, sounding really worried about Todd’s behavior, and honestly, it felt like a major turning point – a really bad one. You could just feel things were about to fall apart for them.
Needing some fresh air, Todd went for a run, but suddenly collapsed in front of George and Christina.
5. Daniel Osbourne has suspicions about Will Driscoll

After Daniel scolded him for the missing essay, Sam immediately understood Megan was to blame. He went to the Bistro and carefully listened to Daniel and Megan talking about Megan using ADHD medication to help her study.
He still suspects Will is hiding something, so he carefully observes every interaction they have.
The following day, Sam received a message about Ritalin, but Megan interrupted him and offered to help him with tutoring. He refused, and when Megan told Daniel about it, she implied that Sam had been rude and dismissive.

Sam isn’t the only teenager acting strangely. Daniel has also encountered the person who was imprisoned for attacking him on Christmas, and soon discovers that this individual wasn’t actually the one who committed the crime.
Will is unknowingly exposed when Maggie makes a comment about his “terrible temper”…
6. Love is in the air for Lauren Bolton and Ollie Driscoll

Ollie and Lauren had been playfully flirting for weeks, and Ollie finally worked up the courage to ask her out. Their date went really well, and he invited her to a party with other students in Fallowfield.
She happily shared her plans with Betsy and Carla, and was thrilled when her close friend offered to let her borrow some clothes.
7. Carla Connor plans to surprise Lisa Swain

I’m so glad Carla’s trying to cheer Lisa up after everything that’s happened! She’s planning something really fun at Chariot Square, and I hope it brightens Lisa’s day. It’s lovely to see her thinking of Lisa like that.
Now that Betsy knows the surprise, she’s hoping her mom will arrive at the hotel on time.
Will it pay off?
