Moving in together? That’s a nope from Keke Palmer.
The actress from The ‘Burbs, who has a 2-year-old son named Leodis with her former partner Darius Jackson, has stated she will never share a home with a romantic partner, even if they get married.
Keke Palmer shared on Today with Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones on February 2nd that she truly values having time to herself.
The 32-year-old even quoted Whoopi Goldberg, recalling her explanation for avoiding long-term relationships after being married three times to Alvin Martin, David Claessen, and Lyle Trachtenberg.
Keke explained she strongly related to something Whoopi Goldberg once said: ‘I don’t want anyone in my house.’ She added, ‘I feel the same way.’
Keke Palmer, the actress from Nope, is open to finding a solution. She suggested, “Somewhere nearby would be perfect.”
Keke offered, “You can stay in the guest house. We could all be on the same property, but with separate living spaces – at most, just different rooms.”
Plus, she believes living apart keeps the relationship “fun and exciting.”
Keke talked about how nice it would be to casually say she’s going to her boyfriend’s place. She joked that he’d probably mess up her apartment if he stayed over, so she’d rather relax on his couch instead.
That being said, Keke’s door will always remain open for her son.

Becoming a parent is an incredibly responsible experience,” she explained to TopMob News in 2024. “Having a child changes everything and brings a level of responsibility unlike anything else.”
She wants to be her best self for her partner, and to do that, she needs to prioritize her own well-being and focus on personal growth. She explained that she can’t fully support him if she isn’t taking care of herself first.

Oh my gosh, Keke Palmer just shared the most amazing photos from her Rome trip! Seriously, her Instagram is everything right now. She posted this whole carousel of pictures with her little boy, Leodis Jackson – he’s the cutest! It was just full of sweet family moments, but get this – she also threw in some Lizzie McGuire nostalgia! Can you even?! And the best part? This adorable mirror selfie with Leo – she calls him her ‘Leo Rising’ and it’s just… perfection. I’m officially obsessed with their whole vibe!

Okay, so I’m completely obsessed with Leodis, seriously, Master Leodis is just… everything! And Palmer? She just GETS it. She posted the sweetest thing about him for Mother’s Day, and then, get this, she hinted she wants more kids! Like, can you imagine even MORE little Leodis-es running around? I’m officially losing it, but in the best way possible. It was such a heartwarming post, and it just proves she’s as much of a fan as I am… maybe even more! I need more details about this potential bigger family, stat!
She posted on Instagram about how much she loves being a mom, saying it’s even more wonderful than she expected. She also joked that she’d like to have a big family, ‘enough for a whole soccer team!’

Palmer was incredibly touched when she heard her son, Leodis, say “mama” for the very first time while they were filming. She jokingly said it was so emotional, she wasn’t the one crying – everyone else was!

In a heartfelt post, the new mother wished her son, nicknamed “Leo Beo,” a happy first birthday, expressing that he’s brought meaning to her life.
In February 2024, she wrote that being with him made life incredibly meaningful. She said she would gladly endure all of life’s hardships, again and again, even through countless lifetimes, just to be with him.

“Santa” and her “favorite little helper” dazzled in a sparkly red dress and the cutest elf costume.

Palmer shared a sweet video of herself dancing with her son, calling him “the love of my life.” She expressed her excitement for all the future adventures they’ll share, like going to the movies, camping, and simply spending time together as he grows up.

It was so funny watching my little Leo absolutely lose it as his mom started saying ‘popcorn, popcorn’ – she was doing her best Pinkydoll impression! Honestly, that TikTok creator is a genius; even my mom is quoting her now, and it cracks us all up.

Palmer shared a heartwarming video from her archives showing her lovingly kissing her baby.

Okay, so picture this: I was all set for a sweet Mommy and Me yoga session, feeling so ready to bond! But little Leo? He wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea of downward-facing dog… let’s just say he had other plans!

“Happy Mother’s Day,” Palmer wrote on the milestone day, “to a MUVAAAAA.”

It wasn’t a prank! Keke Palmer may have actually predicted the arrival of her first baby, recalling a playful comment she made about being pregnant a year ago.
