The year 2026 is beginning with a fantastic winter anime season! Popular continuing series like Jujutsu Kaisen and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End are back, and several brand new shows, including Sentenced to be a Hero and You and I Are Polar Opposites, quickly gained a dedicated following. While Crunchyroll is streaming most of the January releases, Netflix also delivered some major hits with new shows like Love Through a Prism and Cosmic Princess Kaguya.
Netflix doesn’t have a huge number of new anime releases, but it frequently offers both original series and older favorites. While January brought some great shows, February 2026 will see at least three new anime titles added to the platform. Streaming dates and confirmation of these releases come from the website What’s on Netflix.
3) Baki-Dou Season 1

Following the popular martial arts anime Baki Hanma, the new series finds Baki restless after becoming the world’s strongest fighter. He easily wins matches in an underground arena, but feels unchallenged. Everything changes when a shocking secret is revealed: the legendary samurai Musashi Miyamoto has been successfully cloned, throwing the country into chaos. The anime is scheduled to premiere on February 26, 2026.

She has a magical crossbow and can heal wounds, but doesn’t remember what she wished for when she made a contract with Kyuubey, a mysterious fairy. Kyuubey himself seems to have forgotten her wish, yet Iroha continues to battle the witches who threaten humans. When Iroha meets Kyuubey again, fragments of her past return, and she begins to investigate a looming threat in Kamihama City. All three seasons will become available on February 10th, 2026.

The story centers around Kenichi Shirahama, a high school student who’s secretly a talented fighter but prefers reading.
