
The detective adventure game titled “Mystereet: Yasogami Kaoru no Chousen!” is set to debut digitally on July 31 for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Switch in Japan at a price of 2,970 yen. A PC release via Steam will follow at a later date, according to MAGES.’s announcement.
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve recently gotten my hands on the revamped version of “Mystery of Yasogami High School: Case Selection!” This game is a refreshed take on the original “Mystery of Fukagyaku World Investigator,” initially released on PC in 2004 as “Mystery of Fukagyaku World Investigator: Yasogami Kaoru’s Incident.” Over the years, it has been adapted for PlayStation 2 as “Mystery of Yasogami High School: Yasogami Kaoru’s Case Files” and for PlayStation Portable as “Portable Mystery of Yasogami High School: Case Selection!” The PSP version, featuring a collection of mini scenarios titled “Yasogami Kaoru’s Case Files,” was later ported back to PC as “Windows Mystery of Yasogami High School: Case Selection!” This new port seems to be built upon the foundations laid by that earlier adaptation.
