The new ITV thriller, Betrayal, features Shaun Evans as John, an MI5 agent facing scrutiny at work and difficulties in his personal life with his marriage.
In the new series, Evan is joined by Romola Garai, who plays John’s wife, Claire. Zahra Ahmadi joins the cast as Mehreen, an intelligence officer brought in to cover John’s work when he faces an internal investigation.
Despite knowing he should move on, John finds it difficult to leave his job. He strongly believes – even though no one else agrees – that a serious attack on the UK is about to happen, orchestrated by a radical group within the Iranian government.
But who else stars alongside Evans, Garai and Ahmadi and who do they all play?
