There have been rumors that Starfield, the popular game from Bethesda, might be released on PlayStation 5 as soon as April. However, Bethesda hasn’t officially confirmed this. According to insider Shinobi602, don’t expect an announcement at the upcoming State of Play event. The reveal for the PS5 version, along with details about the game’s second story expansion, is now expected next month.
Bethesda might be holding off on an announcement to avoid it getting lost amongst other game reveals at the event, particularly Sony’s big titles. While that’s understandable, fans – especially those eager to play the game on PlayStation 5 – would probably welcome any news at this stage.
I’ve been checking Reddit, and people are still hoping Bethesda will surprise us with another sudden release like they did with Oblivion Remastered last year. But honestly, I don’t think Starfield will create the same buzz Oblivion did. Still, I’m really eager to find out when it’s coming to PS5 and get some details on that new faction everyone’s talking about, the Terran Armada, which sounds awesome and is supposedly in the next expansion.
