WWE 2K26 looks like it will be a great new installment in the series. The latest trailer focuses on the 2K Showcase mode and features a digital recreation of a wrestling legend.
CM Punk walks into the arena, and a serious voice-over reveals his focus wasn’t on becoming famous, but on staying true to himself and doing things his way. The game seems to offer players a similar chance to explore an alternate path – what might have happened if he hadn’t stepped away from the public eye.
The new trailer highlights some of CM Punk’s most famous matches, and even includes a few never-before-seen bouts created using the Fantasy Warfare mode in WWE 2K26. It features Punk facing off against many wrestling legends, showcasing key moments from his career. From his 2008 SummerSlam match against JBL to his final showdown with Drew McIntyre in the Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood 2024, the trailer promises a look back at one of the greatest wrestling careers of all time.
WWE 2K26 will be released on March 13th. Players who purchase a premium edition will get early access starting March 6th. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
