Pearl Abyss has shared a new video showcasing everyday life in the world of Crimson Desert, their upcoming open-world action adventure game, set in the land of Pywel.

Earlier videos showed off the game’s story, different areas, how you explore, quests, its open-world style, and how combat and character progression work. The latest video dives into the world of Pywel and all the things players can do there.
This video explains the resources available in Pywel to help players on their journeys. You can find cooking ingredients by fishing and hunting, gather flowers and bugs for alchemy, and collect materials through mining and gathering to craft items and improve your equipment.
Players will discover Greymane Camp in Hernand, a settlement founded by Kliff and his allies after they were driven from their home by the Black Bears. By gathering resources and in-game currency through exploration, players can upgrade the camp, making it a vital base for their adventures.
Inside the camp, players can build and manage farms and ranches to get materials for cooking and crafting. They can also buy supplies from a shop and send companions out on missions to gather things like wood and ore. These features let players develop and improve their camp over time. The preview also showed off how players can customize their characters, changing their looks with dyes they find or make, as well as outfits, hairstyles, and tattoos to create a unique appearance.
The world of Crimson Desert features towns and villages filled with people like blacksmiths, tailors, and merchants who need help. These characters will respond to how players act – they might become angry and attack, or even offer rewards for capturing players who cause trouble. This adds a new layer of realism to interactions with people in the game. Pearl Abyss recently announced on social media that over two million players have added Crimson Desert to their wishlists.
Crimson Desert is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on March 19.
