Marvel is currently finishing up work on Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. It’s expected to hit US theaters later this year, and a follow-up movie, Avengers: Secret Wars, is planned for release in 2026.
Marvel has now released four short previews for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. The first preview surprisingly showed Chris Evans returning as Captain America, even though he wasn’t originally announced to be in the film. The following previews highlighted Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, and several X-Men characters. The latest preview focused on Letitia Wright as Black Panther/Shuri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and other characters.

According to Empire Magazine, as reported by Cosmic Marvel on Twitter, director Anthony Russo revealed that Chris Evans will play a significant part in the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday.
Russo explained they feel a strong connection to the character and believe the story wouldn’t work without him. He emphasized that the character will continue to be an important part of the group moving forward.
