Kena: Scars of Kosmora Brings The Titular Heroine To A New World With New Challenges

I’m so excited for Kena: Scars of Kosmora! It’s the sequel to Bridge of Spirits, and from what I’ve seen, Kena’s really stepping into the role of a Spirit Guide now. It’s cool to see her trying to use her kindness and understanding not just with spirits, but with people too!

I was so excited to hear from Ember Studios at today’s State of Play! Josh and Mike Grier announced their new game, and they seem really determined to make it even more amazing than their previous work. Plus, it’s awesome that they’re partnering with PlayStation Studios for the sound design – that’s a huge step and I’m already anticipating a fantastic audio experience!

Working with PlayStation Studios has allowed us to make the game even bigger and better, while still keeping the heart of what players loved about the original.

Kena’s good reputation from the first game has earned her the trust of the people in Kosmora, a world she’s now exploring as a Spirit Guide. She’ll encounter new dangers and unravel new mysteries as she helps the residents of Kosmora with problems in both the real world and the spirit world.

The new game appears to improve upon the original, featuring a dynamic combat system where the player skillfully uses a staff and bow. The battles are visually impressive, with smooth animations that make them both stylish and engaging. The game also boasts stunning graphics and creative enemy designs, leaving us excited to play it.

We don’t have many story details yet, but we anticipate a heartwarming and charming narrative, similar to what players experienced in Bridge of Spirits. Scars of Kosmora is scheduled to release later this year on PS5 and PC. You can watch the announcement trailer below.
