As of now, a UK broadcaster has not been confirmed for CIA.

Since the FBI series and its related shows are available on Sky and NOW in the UK, it’s likely that the new CIA series will be too. We’ll have to wait and see exactly when it will arrive, though.

What is CIA about?

This show explores how the CIA and FBI work together on secret missions, focusing on a surprising pair of partners.

According to the CIA’s official description, FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman (Nick Gehlfuss), known for following the rules, is temporarily assigned to a secret joint CIA/FBI team. There, he partners with Colin Glass (Tom Ellis), a mysterious and unconventional CIA officer.

Working together in New York, Bill and Colin will conduct secret missions, exposing international conspiracies, terrorist groups, and hidden political strategies. As a newcomer to the CIA, Bill will quickly learn the ropes with Colin’s guidance, navigating the dangerous world of espionage. Their work is vital to America’s security, even though it must remain hidden from the public.

Ellis and Gehlfuss, the show’s leads, were friends before they started working together. Ellis explained that their existing friendship influenced how they played their characters, describing the chemistry test as unusual – it wasn’t a typical setup with a single camera and a blue screen, according to Deadline.

We assembled a small team and headed to New York to film some initial test scenes. It went surprisingly smoothly – we quickly found our rhythm and started working well together. The whole process felt natural and everything just clicked.
