ManaVoid Entertainment is making a sequel to Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan called Rainbow Billy: The Book of Fears. It’s coming to PC (via Steam) in 2026.
Here is an overview of the game, via ManaVoid Entertainment:
About
Billy is a little older now. And the world feels different.
In Rainbow Billy: The Book of Fears, Billy faces a more thoughtful and personal adventure as he navigates the challenges of growing up, dealing with self-doubt, and confronting the fears we all experience.
Billy used to overcome challenges by jumping and running, but now he prefers to watch, ask questions, and listen. The game has become more about uncovering a story and understanding people’s feelings than simply taking action.
Billy’s journey leads him to meet Fearlings – unusual creatures born from fear, worry, and hidden emotions. These aren’t battles to be won, but opportunities to understand what’s bothering these creatures, and in doing so, learn more about himself.
Every scenario asks you to explore your surroundings, find hints, talk to people, and understand complex feelings. The decisions you make aren’t about winning or losing; they change how Billy views fear, understands others, and develops as a person.
Rainbow Billy: The Book of Fears is a gentle and insightful story about the challenges of growing up. It explores how identifying and understanding your fears can be a powerful act of courage.
