In My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, Deku and Bakugo try twice to defeat Nine, but their first attempt fails. Bakugo helping Deku also shows their rivalry is starting to ease, though it hasn’t completely disappeared. While this teamwork adds to the movie’s excitement, it’s short-lived and ends in defeat, making it the least impactful moment on this list – even though it’s a cool scene for these two rivals.

Bakugo’s return to the battle after a near-fatal injury is a highlight of My Hero Academia Season 8. The animation is breathtaking, and the situation is incredibly tense as they combine their abilities to propel Bakugo toward both All Might and All For One. While the team-up is brief, it leads to a fantastic scene where they defeat the series’ main villains, Shigaraki and All For One. While not as critical as a fight against a villain, it’s an enjoyable and revealing scene.

A key moment happens when Deku has to share his One for All power with Bakugo, letting them both use it to finally win. The animation is beautiful, and the battle is truly epic. It’s a fantastic team-up, and fans wish something this grand had happened in the main anime series.
