I’ve been a huge fan of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine for years – it’s been publishing amazing manga since 1959! Right now, I’m especially loving Go! Go! Loser Ranger by Negi Haruba, the creator of the fantastic The Quintessential Quintuplets which finished up in 2020. Go! Go! Loser Ranger started in 2021 and is heading towards its exciting conclusion! It really blew up in popularity after the anime came out in 2024, and Season 2 just aired in April 2025. Everyone’s hoping for a Season 3, but as of now, it hasn’t been announced yet, which is a little frustrating!
The manga took a short break last May, returning the following month, and has been consistently released ever since. However, it will pause again for three months before resuming on March 18, 2025, to begin its final story arc. This news comes from the 12th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, as reported by Anime News Network. Currently, the manga spans 12 arcs, but the anime adaptation has only covered five, leaving plenty of content yet to be animated. While the length of the final arc is still unknown, the series is expected to conclude within a year or two.
What Is The Plot of Go! Go! Loser Ranger?

A massive flying fortress mysteriously appeared in the sky, signaling the end of a long war between humans and monsters. But for the last thirteen years, a hidden monster army has been plotting to take over the world. To protect everyone, the Dragon Keepers tirelessly fight against this looming threat.
During the first wave of attacks, they overcame numerous monsters and continue to eliminate any remaining opposition. Sentouin D, a soldier burdened by a past he regrets, ventures out from the fortress seeking a new purpose. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he meets Yumeko Suzuki, a skilled ranger, and learns the key to defeating the Dragon Keepers: their powerful Divine Artifacts. These artifacts are the rangers’ greatest weapons, granting those who wield them the ability to transform and gain extraordinary powers.
Sentouin D quickly teams up with the rangers, determined to protect what he values most. You can currently watch both seasons of the anime on Hulu. If you prefer reading, the manga is available in English through Kodansha’s official website – there are 17 volumes in total, and I currently have access to the first 16.
