See Prince William, Kate Middleton’s Royally Sweet BAFTAs 2026 Outing

It’s a royal date night for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Prince William and Princess Kate made a stunning appearance at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards in London on February 22nd. It was their first time attending the event together in three years.

William, 43, arrived at the ceremony in a burgundy velvet jacket, ready to present the evening’s top award. Kate, 44, looked stunning in a pink dress that matched the color scheme.

Prince William, President of BAFTA since 2010, has often attended the annual awards ceremony with his wife, most recently in 2023. In 2024, he attended alone while Kate recovered from abdominal surgery, before she later announced her cancer diagnosis.

Prince William and Princess Kate, parents to Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (10), and Prince Louis (7), frequently attend the BAFTAs. This year, they’ll be joined by Alan Cumming, who is hosting the awards show for the first time and recently shared his thoughts about the event.

He said he felt both thrilled and a little overwhelmed, comparing the experience to being cast in a play without having seen the script yet, in an interview with PA Media published on February 16th.

Even though the host of Traitors admitted he’s handled situations like this previously, the show likely won’t be as intensely dramatic as the discussions around the roundtable.

Alan said he aims to be playful and fun without being overly critical. He wants to acknowledge everyone’s accomplishments, and feels his naturally charming and mischievous personality allows him to be a bit more daring or teasing without offending anyone.
