New Batman Beyond Funko Pops: Glow-in-the-Dark Blight and Armored Bruce Figures Revealed

In a nod to the future, the acclaimed series “Batman Beyond” – a continuation of the classic “Batman: The Animated Series” and “The New Batman Adventures” – introduces a new Batman (Terry McGinnis) who inherits the role from an aged Bruce Wayne. Excitingly, this beloved show is receiving a surge of new Funko Pop figurines, including a glow-in-the-dark Funko Pop Plus of the villain Blight, whose radioactive and translucent body makes him a menacing nemesis for McGinnis. Furthermore, there are Armored Bruce and Terry McGinnis Funko Pops, representing the main characters. The Terry figurine even comes with an unmasked Chase variant, if you’re fortunate enough to find one at random. These figurines can currently be purchased at Entertainment Earth, with availability on Amazon coming soon. For more details, see below.

Batman Beyond Might be Getting a Videogame Series

Back in February, there was a buzz suggesting that Batman Beyond could potentially launch its own video game series. This speculation emerged from Rocksteady Studios, known for creating Batman: Arkham and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League games. However, it’s important to note that the report doesn’t confirm that it’s based on Batman Beyond; it’s still very much in development. The information was shared by Comicbook’s Tyler Fischer, who mentioned that Lunatic Ignus, a source known for accuracy at times, particularly with PlayStation-related news, may have learned about this due to the involvement of a PlayStation deal. Yet, it’s crucial to remember that this is just a rumor as Fischer clarified.

It appears Ignus implies that these upcoming Batman games might be exclusive to PlayStation 6 and PC, leaving out Xbox consoles for now. This means we can anticipate a new Batman series in the future, possibly inspired by the popular “Batman Beyond” series. Who wouldn’t get excited about battling villains in that futuristic suit?
