Hilary Swank Shares Rare Photo of Her Son Ohm, 2, During Skiing Trip

Hilary Swank is hitting the slopes with the sweetest plus one. 

Actress Hilary Swank gave fans a peek into her family life, sharing a sweet moment with her two-year-old twins, Ohm and Aya, during an outing with her husband, Philip Schneider.

Hilary shared on Instagram on February 22nd that she had a wonderful weekend in the snow with her family and was especially impressed by the kindness of Canadians.

Oh my gosh, she looks absolutely amazing! Hilary was glowing in this picture, bundled up in a silver puffer jacket and black snow pants – seriously, she makes winter look good! And her little guy? So cute! They covered his face with a heart emoji, but you could still see his adorable blue snowsuit and those tiny ski goggles! I can’t even handle the cuteness! I’ve already screenshotted it like five times.

While she generally keeps her children private, the 51-year-old has spoken about her experience of becoming a mother later in life.

She recently told Women’s Health that she wishes she’d started a family sooner. While she wasn’t planning to wait until age 47, she felt that time in her life was perfect for many reasons and everything finally came together.

The actress from Freedom Writers feels that being older has made her a more patient and understanding mother. She also confirmed she isn’t currently focused on pursuing any other acting roles.

Because I’m already settled in my career, I don’t feel pulled in different directions. I can fully focus on my children and be a very involved parent.

Of course, her husband—with whom she tied the knot in 2018—is right there with her through it all. 

She told People magazine in 2024 that she feels lucky to have such an equal and involved parenting partnership with her husband. “We’re both very hands-on,” she explained.

The actress known for P.S. I Love You celebrated the start of fall by sharing a sweet message on social media, acknowledging both her pet and her upcoming children.

She captioned her Oct. 2022 post, “#HappyHalloween from me, Pumpkin Moon and my PumpTwins.”

Hilary received a wonderful Christmas gift in 2022: twin babies, who she lovingly called the best gifts she could ever ask for.

Hilary showcased her baby bump at the 2023 Golden Globes, greeting friends and welcoming guests as they arrived.

Hilary shared a playful update about her pregnancy, announcing in a February 2023 post that she’s expecting! She used the cute analogy, “Oven’s heatin’ up, dough’s beginning to rise!!” to share the news with her fans.

Hilary Swank, known for her role in Million Dollar Baby, shared that she’s expecting a baby, posting an ultrasound image showing the little one already showing off their strength.

Hilary officially welcomed her twins in April 2023.

She admitted it was challenging, but exclaimed how incredibly rewarding it was. She shared the news with a simple, “Happy Easter!” and described her current location as “pure Heaven.”

Hilary gave a peek into her and Philip’s life at home with their many fur babies. 

She shared a heartwarming photo on social media in June 2023, writing, “I walked into my bedroom and found this adorable scene of my rescue dogs napping!” She affectionately named them: Teddy, Sufi, Kai, Dunton, and Moon.

In February 2024, Hilary and Philip had a rare date night out, attending the Variety Spirituality and Faith in Entertainment Breakfast.

I was so moved when Hilary shared the story behind her daughter’s name. She explained that Aya, her daughter, is named after a Syrian refugee they met while in Lebanon. Hilary described her as an incredibly brave and bright young girl who was facing really tough circumstances, and it clearly had a huge impact on them.

They nicknamed their son Ohm because the sound is seen as universal and unifying – they felt it was a perfect name.
