Okay, so the new trailer for the Shrouded Sky update in ARC Raiders looked pretty dark, and I thought things were going south, but apparently that’s totally misleading! It’s actually a really exciting update, launching tomorrow.
Speranza is preparing for a storm, but that also creates a chance for Raiders to venture to the surface and overcome new challenges. It’s a risky job, but the rewards could be great!
A new challenge called the Hurricane is coming to the game. It creates swirling conditions that make it harder to see and hear, weakens your defenses, and slows you down. To make things even more difficult, two new enemy types, the Firefly and the Comet, have been added. The Firefly is a fast, flame-throwing enemy, and the Comet will explode as soon as it reaches you. Finally, the Dam Battlegrounds map has been expanded with new areas.
A new update includes both a Raider Deck and a Weather Monitoring System. The System is a seasonal project for players to investigate the cause of the recent unusual weather, and both features will offer new rewards.
It’s time to prepare and face this new challenge head-on. The Raiders won’t be deterred by a little bad weather, will they?
