GungHo Online Entertainment, the publisher handling the Western release of Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, recognizes the game’s potential. That’s likely why they’ve approved a costly physical release of the game.
The ‘Golden Wings Edition’ is now available for pre-order from Panax Games and costs $274.99 (or £239.00), not including shipping.
Just a heads-up, this pre-order offer won’t last forever! It closes on March 8th. Also, keep in mind that even though I can pre-order it, there’s no official release date for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter just yet.
What do you actually get for the price? Essentially, you’re buying a detailed, 12x7x10.4 inch model recreating an exciting airship chase scene from the game – it’s a miniature diorama.
The model certainly looks great, but it’s quite expensive, even for dedicated fans of the Falcom series.
