Netflix is bringing a special event to movie theaters for fans of a popular live-action anime series, celebrating the premiere of its second season. Last year, Netflix successfully screened the final episode of Stranger Things in theaters, and now they’re repeating the experience – but this time for a brand new season instead of the finale.
I’m so hyped! One Piece is returning to Netflix on March 10th with a brand new season, and Netflix is doing something really cool to celebrate! They’re actually letting fans watch the first two episodes in theaters on the 10th! It’s called One Piece: Into the Grand Line, and showings will start around 6 PM local time in different cities. You can find more details and when tickets become available on their website – seriously, check it out!

Netflix will release One Piece: Into the Grand Line on March 10th. Fans can also see the first two episodes on the big screen with a special theatrical screening on the same day. If you can’t make it to the screening, all eight episodes of the new season will be available to stream at once. The story continues directly after the first season, with Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew embarking on their journey into the dangerous and unknown Grand Line.
Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has announced that the second season of the live-action series will cover the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island storylines from the original manga and anime. This will introduce viewers to new characters—both friends and enemies—as Luffy and his crew begin their journey through the Grand Line, and it’s all building towards a third season that is already being planned.
What’s Next for One Piece on Netflix?

Great news for One Piece fans! Netflix has confirmed and begun production on a third season of One Piece: Into the Grand Line. This season will conclude the Alabasta storyline, which will start being introduced in the second season. Fans won’t want to miss the premiere this March as the epic arc begins!
The upcoming live-action One Piece series, Into the Grand Line, will introduce several new actors: Mikaela Hoover will play Tony Tony Chopper, Charithra Chandran will be Miss Wednesday, Sendhil Ramamurthy will portray Nefartari Cobra, Lera Abova will take on the role of Miss All Sunday, and Joe Manganiello will play Mr. 0. These actors are also confirmed to have ongoing roles in the show’s third season, so viewers can expect to see more of their characters in future episodes.
