Inti Creates is releasing a collection of their action games, Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX and Luminous Avenger iX 2, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch (including the new Switch 2), and PC via Steam. This Dual Collection includes all previously released downloadable content, a brand-new game mode, and gameplay balancing updates. It will be available starting July 9th.
In Japan, the game will be available on consoles both as a physical copy and for digital download. The standard PlayStation 5 and Switch versions will cost 5,830 yen, while the limited editions will be priced at 13,750 yen. A special Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available for 6,930 yen (standard) or 14,960 yen (limited). The limited edition includes an A4 art book featuring all official artwork, and a four-disc CD with the complete game soundtrack. Anyone who pre-orders either version will also receive an A4 clear file.

The Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 1+2 Dual Collection bundles together two fast-paced, 2D action platformer games – Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX (originally released in 2019) and Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 (from 2022) – and includes all previously released downloadable content.

Players control Copen, who can transform into a powerful “Break-Shift” form, letting him blast through enemies with incredible new abilities. This makes the already exciting action feel even more rewarding!
Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 now features an Endless Battle mode, and players can use a new “Spike Smash” system to make Copen’s Razor Wheel even more powerful.
