Shudder has become a go-to streaming service for horror lovers, offering original content, shows, and interactive watch parties. Each month, Shudder curates special collections and themes – in March, they’re featuring films by beloved cult directors, highlighting women in horror, and showcasing the best in found-footage horror.
Shudder has a fantastic lineup planned for March! We’ve picked out some of the best movies coming to the platform, and you’ll find a full schedule of everything – including dates and watch parties – listed below.
‘Bodycam’ (2026)
Available to Stream March 13
Bodycam creates a tense, found-footage experience. It follows two police officers—played by Jaime Callica and Sean Rogerson—who are called to a simple domestic dispute. Things quickly go wrong, and they accidentally cause a death. Afraid of the consequences, they attempt a cover-up, but they soon discover they weren’t the only witnesses. Something unseen—and potentially supernatural—also saw what happened and is now seeking revenge.
I just finished watching Bodycam, and it’s definitely trying something new with the found-footage format. The whole movie is presented as real-time footage from two police body cameras, which is pretty intense. It’s a Shudder Original that’s been getting some buzz from the film festival scene, and I can see why – it’s got a really unsettling vibe and plenty of moments that will make you jump. If you’re a fan of horror, you’ll want to check it out when it starts streaming on Shudder on March 13, 2026.
‘Vulcanizadora’ (2024)
Available to Stream March 15
Director Joel Potrykus’s strange and unsettling film, Vulcanizadora, centers on two friends, Derek and Marty (played by Joshua Burge and Potrykus), who venture into the woods with a mysterious purpose. When things go wrong, one of them is left deeply troubled and fears the consequences of what has happened.
We’re keeping the plot of Vulcanizadora intentionally mysterious because the movie is more about the overall feeling and how the story unfolds – it’s best enjoyed knowing as little as possible beforehand. Director Joel Potrykus has a very distinctive style that won’t appeal to everyone, but it’s definitely worth a watch. If you enjoy his films, Shudder is adding several of them, including The Alchemist Cookbook, Buzzard, and Relaxer. You can start streaming Vulcanizadora on Shudder on March 15, 2026.
‘She Loved Blossoms More’ (2024)
Available to Stream March 22
Yannis Veslemes’ film, She Loved Blossoms More, is a strange and darkly funny sci-fi horror movie. It’s about three brothers who create a peculiar time machine, hoping to revive their deceased mother. But when their father discovers their project, things go terribly wrong, and the brothers are thrown into a mind-bending, nightmarish world where it’s hard to tell what’s real and what isn’t.
The film She Loves Blossoms More shares a similar quirky and unsettling style with movies directed by acclaimed filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos. While it may not reach the same level of critical recognition, it’s a wildly imaginative mix of genres, shifting between a scary-funny horror comedy and a strange, moving family story. The movie’s impressive practical effects really enhance its dreamlike visuals. You can start streaming She Loves Blossoms More on Shudder on March 22, 2026.
‘The Mortuary Assistant’ (2026)
Available to Stream March 27
Inspired by the popular 2002 indie horror game, The Mortuary Assistant tells the story of Rebecca Owens (Willa Holland), a newly qualified mortician. She starts a job at a small-town funeral home, working alongside her mentor, Raymond Delver (Paul Sparks). Soon after starting, Rebecca begins seeing frightening visions and suspects an evil force is trying to take control of her. She must use occult knowledge to fight back and stop the threat.
The original game became incredibly popular online, and people are eager to see it turned into a movie. The game itself is a thrilling experience, mixing scary supernatural events with mysterious rituals involving bodies. Thankfully, the game’s creator, Brian Clarke, also wrote the screenplay, so the movie should feel true to the game’s story and atmosphere. You can stream The Mortuary Assistant on Shudder starting March 27, 2026.
