Sophia Bush might need a new tagline.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can share an amusing anecdote from my personal experiences. You might recall my time on One Tree Hill. Well, here’s a fun twist: I was extended an invitation to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but the chance slipped right past me due to an unexpected oversight. My dear friend Bozoma Saint John, who graced the Bravo show in 2024, had texted me about it, but unfortunately, I didn’t catch her message at the time.
Sophia would certainly excel as a housewife, wouldn’t she?” Bozoma mentioned during their chat at the Create & Cultivate festival held in Los Angeles on July 19, where TopMob News was present. In an April text message I sent her, I shared something quite private by saying, “Hey, I have a daring question for you.
However, as stated by Bozoma, Sophia seemed to anticipate the question and didn’t reply until today, when she said something along the lines of, “Ah, I must have missed this text from April!
As for Sophia’s reaction to the bombshell invite? She couldn’t help but laugh about it all.
She jokingly admitted on stage that she’s not great at texting. She explained, “So when I wanted to tell her I was excited to see her tomorrow, it went something like this: ‘Oh my goodness, I’m so thrilled I get to see you tomorrow. I can’t wait.’ Then I asked, ‘By the way, is it controversial to ask if it’s April?’ And then I thought, ‘Wow, we seem to communicate more in group chats.’
The actress from “John Tucker Must Die” eventually replied: “I’m all about a thought-provoking query! A provocative question gets me every time. She said she wanted me on her show.
Furthermore, Bozoma believes that Sophia, who started dating Ashlyn Harris in 2023 following her divorce from Grant Hughes, would make an excellent fit for the show’s cast.
The ex-Netflix executive expressed a desire for more women who possess self-assurance, value their female friendships, understand and navigate through conflicts and drama, not for showmanship, but because they genuinely reflect real-life experiences, and aren’t afraid to discuss difficult topics openly.
However, the emphasis on drama was one factor that initially perplexed Sophia as to why Bozoma showed interest in joining the Bravoverse; she found it an unforeseen and surprising move.
In her podcast “Work in Progress,” Sophia admitted that she initially thought the show was about women arguing, but Boz is not like that. Instead, she’s supportive, like a cheerleader or teammate. After watching, Sophia realized that Boz is transforming the entire industry.
As a loyal follower, I must share that although it seems Sophia isn’t intending to accept Bozoma’s invitation to star on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she acknowledges her long-time friend’s approach as a healthier model for reality television stardom.
In simpler terms, I’m expressing that, just like everyone else, I’m striving daily to not only survive but thrive amidst the fleeting moments. What I truly yearn for is to genuinely appreciate and enjoy my life.
