Capcom Spotlight Announced for March 5th, to Feature Street Fighter 6, Pragmata, And More

Only a week after launching Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom is holding another showcase event. The Capcom Spotlight livestream will be on YouTube on March 5th at 2 PM Pacific Time / 5 PM Eastern Time. They announced the event with a brief teaser hinting at the games that will be featured.

Okay, so I just saw the Capcom Spotlight announcement and I’m hyped! They’re going to show off more of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Pragmata, and the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. But the biggest news for me? They’re finally detailing what’s next for Street Fighter 6, and Alex is joining the fight on March 17th! Plus, they’re revealing the winners of the Robot Master Design Contest for Mega Man: Dual Override, which I’m really curious about.

The first of several new games coming soon is Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, which will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on March 13th. Then, on March 27th, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection will launch on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Lastly, Pragmata is scheduled to release on April 24th for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Although Capcom hasn’t officially said so, we could learn about other games beyond those shown in the preview. This might include plans for more content in Monster Hunter Wilds, and possibly even an update for Resident Evil Requiem.

The new horror game has been a hit on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Capcom announced in January that pre-orders were strong, and on launch day, over 300,000 people were playing on PC at the same time. It’s remained popular since then, with Steam charts currently showing over 100,000 concurrent players. Capcom recently shared a new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection that shows how the game’s beautiful concept art became the actual in-game environments. The trailer highlighted three key locations – Azuria, Sheparden, and Galyad – and gave players a glimpse of their unique cultures, fashion, and buildings. If you’re interested in trying out this upcoming turn-based RPG, a free demo is available, and you can even transfer your progress to the full game when it releases.

Players can now try out Pragmata with a free demo available on all platforms. The demo offers a glimpse of the game’s third-person combat, which combines shooting with puzzle elements. A new trailer released in February showed off a futuristic location – a holographic New York City. You can also find details about the challenges Capcom faced in realistically depicting the android character Diana due to the game’s focus on visual fidelity.

The Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection was revealed in December and will include all games in the Star Force series. This includes Mega Man Star Force Leo, Dragon, and Pegasus, as well as Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja and Zerker x Saurian, and finally, Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace and Red Joker.
