Tineke “Tini” Younger is taking it one day at a time.
Following the tragic loss of her twin daughter, Arya, during childbirth in November, the TikTok chef has spoken about how her surviving twin, known publicly only as L, is helping her cope and find strength.
During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show on March 2nd, singer Tini explained that her daughter, L, is her main motivation for getting out of bed each day. She admitted that she sometimes wishes she could stay in bed all day, but her daughter needs her to get up and get ready.
For Tini, some days that means doing less than others.
She confessed that even a simple routine – washing her face, brushing her teeth, and eating – helps her feel better. She wants to be fully present for L, and realizes taking the time to get ready is important for her own well-being. She can’t just stay in her pajamas; even changing into comfortable clothes and doing something small makes a difference.
In addition to the heartbreak of losing her daughter – who passed away after Tini suffered a placental abruption during childbirth – the 24-year-old explained that becoming a new mother is difficult on its own.
She added that the postpartum period is challenging enough on its own, and she’s focusing on improving her mental and physical health.
Tini recently announced an update just a month after coming back to social media. She shared that she’ll keep creating the cooking content her followers have come to enjoy.
In a recent Instagram video, Tini expressed her gratitude for the kind messages and support she’s received. She shared that it’s been a difficult time, as she’s grieving the loss of one of her twin babies while also adjusting to life after childbirth and caring for her surviving daughter, who is the twin of the baby she lost.

Although she’s grateful for all the support and attention she’s received, the former Next Level Chef contestant wants to make it clear that she’ll continue to focus her online presence on cooking.
She clarified that she won’t be focusing on content about being a mom. She plans to stick with cooking videos, and if she does feature anything baby-related, it will likely be limited to making baby food.
Similar to Antoine, Tini also said her daughter would appear in some of her videos, but with her face hidden. She playfully explained, “Babies don’t like being put down, you know!”
