The popular series Jujutsu Kaisen recently appeared in a surprising crossover within Shonen Jump magazine! Weekly Shonen Jump is known for bringing together many popular titles, and sometimes the creators go above and beyond by having characters from different series interact. These interactions range from simple acknowledgements to full-blown cameos and crossovers, and the results are often unexpected but fun.
Ei Yamano’s manga series, Someone Hertz, has been gaining popularity in Shonen Jump magazine since its release last fall. To celebrate the release of its second volume in Japan, the series is doing a special crossover with Jujutsu Kaisen. This crossover features Mahoraga in a surprising new situation, different from anything seen in either the original Jujutsu Kaisen or Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. You can find details below.
Jujutsu Kaisen x Someone Hertz Shonen Jump Crossover Revealed

This unique crossover brings Mahoraga, a character from Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen, into the world of Ei Yamano’s Someone Hertz. We see Mahoraga interacting with the comedic duo Mimei and Kurage, and it’s amusing to watch the powerful creature try to keep up with their fast-paced humor. It’s a completely unexpected scenario for such a formidable being, and that’s a big part of what makes this crossover so enjoyable – the contrast between the two worlds is striking.
The manga series Someone Hertz has quickly become popular in Shonen Jump. While it doesn’t have the same high-energy action as series like Jujutsu Kaisen, that’s actually what makes it special. It’s a more relaxed and charming story with adorable artwork and genuinely funny moments, offering a welcome break from more intense action series.
What Is Someone Hertz?

Ei Yamano created the manga series Someone Hertz, which first appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine last fall. Though it’s relatively new, the story of Mimei – a boy who struggles with humor – and his encounter with the naturally funny Kurage has quickly gained a following. Mimei regularly listens to a comedy radio show and tries, unsuccessfully, to get his own jokes featured on the air.
Mimei is thrilled to learn that Kurage is the comedic mastermind behind many of his favorite radio jokes. Hoping to improve his own humor and get noticed, he connects with her. As they work together, a close friendship – and maybe even a romantic connection – begins to blossom. It’s a wonderful story, and you should definitely check it out!
