A highly-rated PC game, a favorite on Steam, has unexpectedly been released on consoles today. It’s common for games to first appear on PC and then be released on consoles, especially for independent developers who often find it simpler to launch on PC initially. This has now happened with a popular 2024 game that was already a big hit on Steam.
Today marks the launch of Minishoot Adventures on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5, bringing the game to console players. Originally released on PC in April 2024, Minishoot Adventures is a twin-stick shooter with Metroidvania elements, developed by SoulGame Studio. Players pilot a small spaceship through a vibrant and imaginative world, battling numerous bosses and discovering valuable upgrades along the way.
Despite its simple concept, Minishoot Adventures has been incredibly well-received. With over 3,500 Steam reviews and a 98% positive rating, it’s officially designated as “Overwhelmingly Positive” on the platform. This makes it a must-try game for players on PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox.
Is This Game Worth Playing on Consoles?
Okay, so I just finished playing Minishoot Adventures on console, and I gotta say, you should definitely check it out! It’s a really cool and different twin-stick shooter – super fast-paced action and a really fun world to blast through. Plus, it’s not a huge time commitment, which is awesome. I honestly think most people would enjoy it if they gave it a try.
Plus, Minishoot Adventures is very affordable at just $14.99. If you’re looking for an even cheaper way to play, it’s also available right now through Xbox Game Pass!
