
With the new Fortnite season just around the corner, today’s update includes patch v39.51.
This update is one of the final ones before the new season launches, and while it’s not massive, it still includes a lot of exciting improvements.
That means new cosmetics, returning items and more that we can expect once downtime ends.

Fortnite update today (5 March): What changes in the patch notes?
The latest Fortnite update adds new and returning outfits and items, including another collaboration with Rick and Morty.
Fortnite’s social media just gave us a sneak peek at today’s Item Shop! You’ll be able to purchase the Rick Prime and Pickle Rick skins, along with Squanchy and Mr. Poopybutthole as Sidekicks.

There’s talk of a collaboration between our game and the new Pixar movie, Hoppers, but details about what that will involve are still unknown.
Fortnite is bringing back some popular, older items that players will remember, according to a recent social media post. The post announced, “OG classics make their return to Battle Royale!”
We still don’t know for sure which classic weapons will return, but it looks like some popular, older Fortnite weapons are coming back into the game.

It doesn’t seem like there’s much more to this update, probably because the Epic Games team is busy getting ready for the launch of Chapter 7 Season 2 in a few weeks.
We’re hoping to learn more soon about when The Visitor will rejoin The Seven, and how that fits into the story for next season and the next in-game event.
