Peacock’s Most Hilarious Show Is Finally Back With New Episodes

Good news for fans of Peacock’s most hilarious show! After a hugely successful first season over two years ago, the comedy is back with Season 2, delivering more non-stop laughs. This March, as Peacock added a variety of new shows and movies – including Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Sonic the Hedgehog – it also released all eight episodes of the comedy series from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, promising plenty of humor.

The TV series Ted, a prequel to the popular movies starring Mark Wahlberg, has returned with its second season. All eight episodes were released on Peacock on March 5th. Set in the 1990s, the show follows the hilarious adventures of the talking teddy bear Ted and his best friend, 16-year-old John, as they deal with the challenges of high school. Seth MacFarlane once again voices Ted, and Max Burkholder plays the younger John. This season focuses on Ted and John’s final year of high school, bringing their teenage years to a close.

Peacock’s Ted TV Show Is a Laugh-Out-Loud Success

Peacock’s new series Ted has quickly become a huge success, breaking records as the platform’s most-watched original show in its first few days. It’s easy to see why – the show brilliantly combines a fun trip down memory lane to the ’90s with the reliably funny, and often very crude, style of a classic sitcom. It’s as hilarious as, or even better than, the original Ted movies, boasting impressive scores on Rotten Tomatoes (74% from critics and 90% from audiences). But Ted offers more than just laughs; it skillfully blends its adult humor with a heartfelt coming-of-age story, delivering genuinely touching moments and well-developed characters alongside the jokes.

It’s still too soon to know if the second season of Ted will be as popular as the first. It hasn’t yet appeared on streaming charts or received ratings from Rotten Tomatoes, but initial reviews are very positive. Season 2 is reportedly even funnier and more unpredictable than Season 1, with plenty of wild scenes, and it explores the rest of the Bennett family in more detail. Plus, with only eight episodes, it’s a quick and easy show to watch all the way through.

Will There Be a Ted Season 3?

It looks like the live-action series Ted has ended after two seasons. Seth MacFarlane has indicated there are no current plans for a third season, meaning Season 2 is likely the show’s finale. While fans may be disappointed, the story of Ted isn’t over! A new animated series is coming to Peacock, continuing the narrative after the events of the first two Ted movies. Seth MacFarlane will once again voice Ted, and original cast members Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, and Jessica Barth will also be involved.
