Thomas & Friends fans have a lot to look forward to! A new show called Wonders of Sodor was just announced, and it’s exciting news for anyone who loves Thomas the Tank Engine.
The creators of Train Sim World, Dovetail Games, have announced that their new game, set on the island of Sodor, will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 starting March 17th, 2026.
Here’s the trailer revealing the date:
The game centers around Percy, a small green engine and a friend of Thomas. Players can choose to play as Percy, along with other characters like Gordon, Diesel, Emily, and Thomas.
James is also playable, but is paid DLC (or included in the Deluxe Edition).
In the game, you can freely explore the island and its trains while uncovering stories, completing goals, overcoming challenges, and discovering hidden items.
Mark Moraghan narrates the game, bringing a wave of nostalgia for fans of the original books and TV series. It’s also a great choice for a new generation of players.
