Eve Myles plays Annie Cassidy

Annie Cassidy is a detective sergeant who doesn’t quite trust Michael. She’s also still troubled by a cold case – the disappearance of a young woman eight years ago that she’s never been able to solve.
I think Annie is such a compelling character – she’s really smart, incredibly brave, and doesn’t put up with anyone’s nonsense. But honestly, Michael Polly, played by David Morrissey, is a truly powerful opponent, and she’s finally met someone who can really challenge her. It’s going to be a fantastic showdown!
Eve Myles is famous for playing Gwen Cooper in Torchwood and Doctor Who, and Faith in Keeping Faith. She’s also had roles in several other popular shows, including Belonging, Broadchurch, You, Me and Them, Victoria, We Hunt Together, Hijack, and The Crow Girl.
David Morrissey plays Michael Polly

Michael Polly is the head of a school who comes home one day to discover his wife, a teacher at the same school, has disappeared. His surprisingly calm reaction to this unsettling event leads people to wonder if he might be involved in her disappearance.

Ivan Pemberley is a detective inspector and Annie’s supervisor. At first, he doesn’t believe Michael could be connected to his wife going missing.
