Coronation Street first look sees Driscoll clan discover sick Megan’s twisted secret at last and plot justice

A new trailer for Coronation Street hints at major drama, with the truth about Megan’s controlling and predatory behavior finally coming to light.

The trailer hints at a frightening experience for Jude Riordan’s character, Sam, prompting Jane Danson’s character, Leanne, to begin an investigation. This investigation eventually reveals a secret relationship between Megan and Will Hodgson-Wale, as well as Megan’s history of bullying Sam to keep him quiet.

Determined to shield Will, Ben and Eva decide to investigate and collect proof against Megan themselves. But will they succeed in stopping her and bringing her to justice, or will she evade consequences yet again?

Next week, Leanne will discover Megan flirting with Will over the phone, and she’ll confide her concerns to Daniel.

After speaking with Hope, Sam feels empowered to stand up to Megan, even as she tries to convince him that no one will support him if he reveals what he knows about her and Will.

Sally Carman-Duttine, who plays Abi Webster on Coronation Street, has confirmed she’ll be staying with the show for at least another year. She shared the news with TopMob at the TV Choice Awards.

She shared her excitement about renewing her contract for another year, saying it’s the best job she’s ever had.

The actress described her character, Abi, as someone who easily wins people over, but then unexpectedly does things that frustrate them. She enjoys playing Abi precisely because of these unpredictable moments – the times when viewers wonder why Abi is making such choices.
