The source suggests that even if there are any setbacks, the console won’t be delayed past early 2028. This timeline aligns with expectations that Microsoft’s next Xbox, codenamed Project Helix, will be available during the 2027 holiday season.

Along with the updated release date for the PS6, sources say Sony wants the new console to easily handle games in 4K resolution at a smooth 120 frames per second.
